A north-south corridor was added to improve equipment handling and personnel access to the area. BF shortening the railroad track south of the building by 30 feet, a ramp was constructed leading from grade level to the new corridor level in order to permit fork truck movement between the trailer space and the inside of the building. Although the structure has a multiple-level design, there are only two principal floors - the main floor at elevation 3 feet 6 inches and the basement at minus 9 feet 6 inches.
