It should also be about exploring values, developing human relationships and enhancing the democratic process. A pedagogical approach based on the principles of Living Global Citizenship puts values at the heart of education. As the participants engage in partnership they discuss their own values, identifying areas of similarity and difference. A learning space needs to be created where this discussion can take place in an open and democratic way, such that the participants are committed to sharing and learning.
