Nur die durch eindeutige dokumentarische Evidenz gestützten, Anspruch in den Text einer Ausgabe übernommen zu werden. Die Mehrzahl der im folgenden diskutierten Vorschläge hätte eher im kritischen Apparat ihren Platz und darf teilweise nur diagnostischen Wert beanspruchen. Dies im Text hervorzuheben, dürfte kaum sinnvoll sein, zumal man die Beurteilung des Wertes eigener Konjekturen besser anderen überläßt. Jedenfalls klären die hier vorgeschlagenen Herstellungen kaum etwas deÀnitiv; sie zeigen viel eher, wie prekär und unsicher der Text der Elementatio ist.
Jedoch unten S. 22ff. einige vorläufige bemerkungen 19 129 verstellt wurde63: Thema der Propositionen 113–165 ist die von der relativen Nähe zum Einen bestimmte Hierarchie des göttlichen Bereichs. Eine Proposition über die SpeziÀka des Denkvorgangs wäre in diesem Kontext ein Fremdkörper: Dieses Thema gehört eher in den Zusammenhang der folgenden Propositionen, von denen 166–183 vom Geist, 184–211 von der Seele handeln. h. hinter 184. Diese in dem genannten Aufsatz ausgeführte Argumentation bezüglich der ursprünglichen Stellung von 128a möchte ich aufrechterhalten.
