Two years later, Bódog Somló’s own colleagues at Nagyvárad Academy of Law denounced him for giving a lecture in Budapest with the title ‘On the Theory of Social Development and a Few of Its Practical Applications,’ the text of which was published in Huszadik Század (it is of incidental interest that the young Ady discovered this essay and wrote a review of it for the local paper, the Nagyváradi Napló).
